Telmital-CT Tablet belongs to the class of anti-hypertensives primarily taken to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). Hypertension or high blood pressure is a life-long or chronic condition in which the blood pressure against the artery wall becomes too high. It is a combination of two medicines namely Telmisartan and chlorthalidone.
The dose will depend on your condition and how your respond to the medicine. It contains a diuretic (water pill) and will make you urinate more so, it is best to avoid taking this medicine within four hours of going to bed.
High blood pressure does not usually have symptoms and if you stop taking it your risk of heart attack or stroke may increase.
