FENADOL syrup is analgesic & antipyretic agent. it is helpful to treat fever, pain & inflammation in infants and children. it works by inhibiting the actions of chemical messengers that cause fever, pain, and inflammation.
Take this medication as prescribed by your doctor. don’t miss a dose. give another dose of this medication if your child vomits within 30 minutes after taking this medication. avoid giving an excessive amount of this syrup to your child, as it may result in serious side effects. don’t stop the medicine though your child feels better. stopping the treatment course without completion may worsen the condition of the child.
The common side effects of this medication are abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, heartburn, and loss of appetite. these symptoms resolve with time. if they persist or worsen, inform your doctor immediately.
Inform your doctor if your child has a history of defects at birth, kidney or liver diseases, heart problems, lung diseases, or bleeding disorders.
