The ENTAVAR injection is used to treat bacterial infection by stopping the bacterial growth and preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required for bacteria to survive. This medicine also replace fluid loss. The dose and dosing frequency should be as per your doctor’s advice. Do not stop taking this medication unless told by your doctor.
The injection may cause side effects such as vomiting, headache, nausea, decreased blood cells and diarrhea. Inform your doctor if these effects worsen your condition or bother you. Inform your doctor if you have symptoms of low blood sugar such as sudden sweating, shaking, fast heartbeat, hunger, blurred vision, dizziness or tingling hands/feet, as this medication may lower your blood glucose levels.
Your doctor may recommend regular monitoring of blood glucose levels. avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medication as it may make you dizzy. Before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or intend to be pregnant, or have liver & kidney problems and using any other medications.
