emcip is a fluoroquinolone class of medication. It is used to treat bacterial infections like urinary tract, respiratory, throat, skin, soft tissues and lungs infections. It works by inhibiting dna replication by stopping bacterial dna enzymes (topoisomerase and dna-gyrase). thus it kills the bacteria.
diarrhoea may occur as a side effect of this medication. when you stop taking this tablet, it will resolve; Inform your physician if it continues. use this medication with caution in kidney disease patients.
the most Common side effects of this tablet are nausea and diarrhoea. allergic reactions like rashes, swelling of the lips, tongue, or face, or breathlessness may occur rarely. Inform your doctor immediately if you experience them for a longer duration.
