azom injection is used in the treatment of urinary tract infection, gonorrhoea, lower respiratory tract infection, systemic infections, meningitis, bone and joint infections, skin and soft tissue infections, intra-abdominal infections, gynaecological infections. it works by preventing the cell wall synthesis of bacteria that results in the killing of bacterial cells or inhibition of the growth of bacteria.
azom is given alone or in combination with other antibiotics. do not take the injection by yourself. the injection should only be given by the doctor or qualified medical practitioner intravenously or intramuscularly. complete the duration of treatment and do not skip the doses even if you feel better.
azom injection's most common side effects include pain at the injection site, decreased neutrophil count, decreased platelet count, rashes, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, fever, and abnormal taste. if the side effects persist or worsen, then inform the doctor immediately. inform your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant or intend to be pregnant or breastfeeding, suffering from kidney or liver disorders, or taking any other medications.
