Sutinat capsule is an antineoplastic agent that helps to treat pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours, metastatic renal cell carcinoma and gastrointestinal stromal tumour by binding/blocking a certain protein (tyrosine kinase) responsible for the growth of cancer and inhibit the growth of new blood vessels within the tumour.
Take this medication as prescribed by your doctor at the advised dose and frequency.
Sutinat capsule may cause some side effects such as nausea, vomiting, weakness, rash, abdominal pain, indigestion, discolouration of skin, fatigue, fever, dry skin, high blood pressure, diarrhoea, constipation, painful blisters on hands & feet, stomatitis, hair discolouration, pain in extremity, headache, joint pain, weight loss, cough, taste change and breathlessness. Inform your doctor if these effects worsen your condition.
Inform your doctor if you have any heart, thyroid gland problems, pancreatic or gallbladder disorders, or medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, arrhythmias, blood diseases/blood clotting disorder, and aneurysms.
Inform your doctor if you had a blood clot in blood vessels or had skin and tissue disorders. If you are going to have surgery or if you had any recent operations. Inform your doctor if you have any liver and kidney problems. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or intend to be pregnant or a lactating mother.
