calcibel is vitamin and mineral supplement. it is used to treat hypocalcaemia and vitamin d deficiency, osteoporosis, hypoparathyroidism, latent tetany, rickets, osteomalacia, malnutrition and malabsorption. using this medicine may cause few common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea and stomach pain. inform your doctor if side effects get worsen.
calcibel may be prescribed alone or in combination with other medicines. you should take it with food. you must follow caution as excess consumption leads to serious adverse effects. this medication has to be taken for several weeks or months for you to see or feel its benefits. medication must not be stopped unless told by your doctor.
