ITIN A tablet is used in the treatment of parasites and worm infections in the body. it fights against the worm to treat the infection. ivermectin works by binding to the muscle and nerve cells of worms, causing their paralysis and death; albendazole works by keeping the worms away from absorbing sugar (glucose) so that they lose energy and die. this medication dose will be given based on your medical condition as prescribed by the doctor. take this tablet orally with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. medication must not be stopped unless told by your doctor. do not take this medication longer than recommended by the doctor. do not skip the dose even if you feel better and complete the entire course. your doctor may also ask for laboratory and diagnostic tests to know the effects of the medicine on your body.
the most common side effects are nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and flatulence. if the symptoms persist or worsen, you need to consult your doctor immediately. your doctor may help you with other ways to reduce or prevent these side effects. avoid drinking alcohol while you are taking this medicine, as alcohol can cause excessive drowsiness. you must take adequate rest for fast recovery, also take healthy diet and drink plenty of water.
before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or have liver & kidney problems, and using any other medication. albendazole, an ivermectin tablet, is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
