Valchek tablet is an antiviral medication used to treat cytomegalovirus infections. It prevents the multiplication of the infection-causing virus.
Take this medication as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop taking this medicine too early, or even if you feel better. If you stop taking this medicine too early, your condition may become worsen. Drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration and kidney problems while taking this medicine.
The common side effects of this medicine include diarrhoea, fever, anaemia, decreased white blood cell count, and low blood platelets. If these symptoms get worsen while taking this medicine, inform your doctor.
Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have kidney problems and low blood cell count. If you are a pregnant or breastfeeding mother, seek a doctor's advice before using this medicine.
