Inmecin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (nsaids) that helps relieve moderate pain and fever in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, and ankylosing spondylitis. It works by blocking the release of chemical messengers that can cause or increase pain, swelling and fever. Thereby it improves the movement of muscles and relieves the pain.
You should take this tablet with food; this will help in preventing stomach upset. You must follow caution as excess consumption leads to serious adverse effects. It should be taken regularly at a fixed time daily. You should follow the dose and duration of medicine as per the doctor's direction. Long-term usage may lead to stomach bleeding and kidney disease.
The most common side effects are nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhoea, loss of appetite, and mouth dryness.
