Estuchol tablet belongs to the gallstone stabilizing agent used to dissolve gallbladder stones and prevent them from forming. It is also used in primary biliary cirrhosis. It works by reducing cholesterol production from the liver and helps the breakdown of the gall stones, which have cholesterol as a primary component. It also improves liver functioning by improving liver enzymes and protecting liver cells from toxic bile acid.
Take this tablet as directed by your doctor. Use it regularly to get maximum benefits from the treatment. Do not take more than the prescribed number of doses.
The most common side effects of this medication are nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, itching, skin rashes, and hair loss. If these side effects persist, consult your doctor immediately.
