Acuvert tablet is a dopamine antagonist. It works by blocking the action of dopamine, thus producing an anti-psychotic and anti-vomiting effect. Take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop this medication unless told by your doctor.
The common side effects of this medication are drowsiness and orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing).
Inform your doctor if you have jaundice, epilepsy, muscle weakness, glaucoma, liver, heart & kidney problems, and using any other medication, as it may cause interactions.
