Harmoni-F Tablet

Harmoni-F Tablet can be taken with or without food, but take it at the same time to get the most benefit. It should be taken as your doctors advice. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. Swallow the tablets whole with a drink of water. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you. It also work as a contraceptive, so better to avoid taking any other hormonal pills while taking this medicine.

The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, stomach pain, headache, breast pain, and mood changes. If these bother you, or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them. Usually, missing a dose may cause spotting or brown discharge in middle of the cycle. Consult with your doctor if this occurs frequently. Consult with your doctor immediately if you notice unexplained swelling and pain in your limbs, shortness of breath, chest pain or changes in vision. Do not continue with the medicine and consult with the doctor if your periods do not start within a week of the treatment.

Before taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you smoke and are over 35, or if you have ever had a heart attack or have cancer of uterus/cervix, or vagina. Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works. Avoid the use of medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
