GABAVAL AT tablet contains two medications amitriptyline and gabapentin. Gabapentin is structurally similar to the gaba neurotransmitter. It works by preventing calcium to the cell membrane. Amitriptyline belongs to a tricyclic antidepressant class of medication. Amitriptyline increases noradrenaline and sertraline neurotransmission by stopping the noradrenaline and serotonin transporter at nerve terminals.
