Atz tablet is an immunosuppressant. It works by reducing the action of the immune system and prevents rejection of the transplanted organ. It also blocks certain chemical messengers responsible for inflammation, swelling, and redness associated with certain joint diseases. Take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop this medication unless told by your doctor.
The common side effects of this medication are nausea, decreased white blood cell count, increased bleeding tendency, infection, and loss of appetite.
Inform your doctor if you have a history of kidney, liver & heart related-problems, and using any other medications, as it may cause interactions. Your doctor advises you to monitor your regular tests to check for any changes in the number of your blood cells.
