omeagma is used to treat heartburn, gastroesophageal reflux disease (gerd) and peptic ulcer disease. it reduces the production of stomach acid and relieves the pain associated with heartburn and acid reflux. it should be taken one hour before the food, preferably on an empty stomach. simple lifestyle changes can improve the gastroesophageal reflux disease (gerd) symptoms. avoid foods that trigger heartburn. you should take smaller, frequent meals. do not eat within 3-4 hours before going to bed.

this medicine may cause sleepiness and dizziness. the most common side effects include diarrhoea, flatulence, stomach pain, dryness in the mouth, and headache. these side effects are usually minor and not serious but inform the doctor if they do not subside. if the symptoms persist or worsen, you need to consult your doctor immediately.
