MEFTAGESIC P tablets are used to treat pain, inflammation, migraine headache, period pain, heavy bleeding during periods, muscle pain, tooth pain, joint pain, pain after surgery, ear pain, fever, flu, osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis. this medication works by inhibiting chemical messengers called prostaglandins responsible for fever, pain, and inflammation (redness and swelling). these tablets are used alone or in combination with other medications. take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. you are advised to follow caution as excess consumption leads to serious adverse effects. do not stop this medication unless told by your doctor. alcohol consumption needs to be avoided while on this medication as it may increase dizziness and increase the risk of stomach bleeding.
the most common side effects of this medication are indigestion, nausea, diarrhoea, heartburn, vomiting. this medication might increase your chances of heart attack or stroke. Inform your doctor if you have any recent history of heart surgery.
