Dr. Poovamma is a highly experienced consultant with a distinguished career in surgical practice, with a specialization in Breast Oncoplastic Surgery. She holds the distinction of being the first graduate of the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) program for the Fellowship in Breast Diseases. Dr. Poovamma actively contributes to the field through her involvement in various teaching programs, serving as Faculty for the Fellowship in Breast Diseases and Cancer at the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Bangalore, as well as in the role of Faculty for DNB General Surgery under the Directorate National Board.
