Life for someone with a body deformity such as scoliosis or hunched back in India can be difficult and challenging. The physical repercussions of having a curved spine can cause difficulties with simple tasks, pain and mobility problems which lead to social exclusion and isolation.

Though disability rights legislation is slowly improving in India, there is still a significant stigma attached to disabilities such as scoliosis or hunched back. A study conducted by the National Institute of Mental Health & Neuro Sciences showed that 80% of persons living with some form of disability experience discrimination from society due to their condition. This often leads to limited opportunities for education, employment and overall well-being for those living with disabilities.

However due to technological advancements in healthcare there are now more options available than ever before when it comes to treating conditions like this one about scoliosis or hunched back. Even though medical treatment may not always be successful in correcting the curvature or restoring full range motion, massage therapy, acupuncture and chiropractic care have proven helpful in managing the symptoms associated with these conditions at least partially restoring function an quality-of-life even if it doesn’t correct the physical shape of the spine completely. Additionally occupational therapies are being increasingly used as part of holistic treatments making sure patients learn new techniques which allow them better cope up with daily activities without becoming dependent on others help too much over time leading them towards feeling more independent despite their physical limitation that they live along side daily basis..

Above all else having proper support network comprising family members , friends , counsellor , physician etc who understands their situation goes long way supporting affected individuals through tough times . Self advocacy is key here where person needs understand his/her own condition thoroughly so that he/she knows how exactly manage it effectively according own abilities . One needs be well aware his/her goals limitations related same . Like this one can take necessary steps ahead make life comfortable possible under prevailing circumstances .
