Personality disorders are a type of mental disorder in which you have a rigid and unhealthy pattern of thinking, feeling, and behaving.
Personality disorders are usually diagnosed in adulthood, but they can also be diagnosed in childhood or adolescence. They're classified into three clusters: A, B, and C.
Cluster A personality disorders are characterized by odd or eccentric behavior. Cluster B personality disorders are characterized by dramatic, emotional, or erratic behavior. Cluster C personality disorders are characterized by anxious or fearful behavior.
