Immunotherapy is definitely not the "cure" for cancer, but there is a lot of potential in this area of research. Immunotherapy has been shown to be effective in a number of different types of cancer, and there are many different ways that it can be used (e.g., checkpoint inhibitors,CAR-T cells, etc.).
However, immunotherapy is still in its early stages and there are many challenges that need to be overcome before it can become a mainstream treatment for cancer. For example, the side effects of some immunotherapies can be quite severe and sometimes deadly. So more research is needed to improve the safety and efficacy of these therapies.
