The signs of scoliosis can vary depending on the severity of the curve, but may include uneven shoulders, chest, or hips; a rib hump; leaning to one side; and difficulty balancing. Scoliosis is often diagnosed during a routine physical exam when the doctor looks for curves in your spine.
If you have any concerns that you might have scoliosis, please consult with your health care provider. Early diagnosis and treatment is important to prevent further curvature of the spine.
