There are many potential causes of a penile rash, discharge and testicular pain, including sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and bacterial infections. However, most of these conditions have other associated symptoms that would make them more likely suspects than HIV. For example, other STDs often cause fever, swollen lymph nodes, or ulcers on the genitals. Bacterial infections are usually accompanied by a foul odor and/or yellowish discharge.
