It is possible to have a vasectomy reversal, but the likelihood of success depends on a number of factors, including how long it has been since the vasectomy was performed and how much damage was done to the vas deferens.
Generally speaking, the sooner after a vasectomy that reversal surgery is performed, the higher the chance of success. If more than 10 years have passed since the vasectomy was performed, or if significant damage was done to the vas deferens during the original surgery, then a successful reversal may not be possible.
