Most people with scoliosis don't feel any pain, although in some cases there may be a dull ache. The curvature of the spine can cause discomfort, especially if it's severe.
The bones, muscles, and ligaments around the spine may also become tight and sore from trying to correct the curve. You may have difficulty breathing or experience numbness or tingling in your arms or legs if the curve is severe.
