In most cases, it is possible to resume normal life after a lumbar vertebral fracture. However, depending on the severity of the fracture, you may need to make some modifications to your lifestyle. For example, if you have a lot of pain or mobility issues, you may need to reduce your activity level and/or take time off work. You will also likely need to see a physical therapist to help improve your mobility and strengthen your back muscles. With proper treatment and Rehabilitation (physical therapy), most people are able to fully recover from a lumbar vertebral fracture and resume their normal life.
