Absolutely! Sinus infection can affect the eyes in several different ways. Firstly, the infection can cause swelling and redness due to increased blood flow in the surrounding areas of sinuses. This leads to increased pressure on the surrounding nerves which then affects eye muscles and causes blurry vision or double vision. Secondly, it can also lead to ocular inflammation caused by bacteria that is present in irritated nasal cavity with direct communication with eyes either through ethmoid bone (located between orbits) or even through nasolacrimal ducts (tear drain). Lastly, when sinus infection becomes chronic it might cause cyst formation within ethmoid bone known as mucocele which can further lead to decreased visual acuity due to compressive effects on optic nerve passing across that region. So if you are facing any such symptoms related to your eyes seek medical help immediately so that the condition doesn't worsen.
