Blood in urine can sometimes be an indicator of pregnancy, but it is not always a symptom. It could indicate other medical conditions as well, so it’s important to get checked out by a doctor if you have any suspicious changes in your urine.

If there is bleeding during early pregnancy, this could be caused by the egg attaching itself to the lining of the uterus and would usually pass without major complications or risk to you or your baby. However, more serious conditions like an ectopic pregnancy (which occurs when a fertilized egg implants outside of the uterus) or miscarriage may also cause blood to appear in your urine and must be addressed immediately.

Other non-pregnancy related causes for blood in urine include urinary tract infections (UTIs), kidney infections such as pyelonephritis, bladder infection called cystitis, STDs such as gonorrhea and chlamydia, kidney stones, enlarged prostate enlargement secondary to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), vascular malformations within the urinary system such as hematuria due to angiomyolipomatosis (AML), cancer or trauma from physical activities resulting from exercise or sports injuries among others. The diagnosis for these cases should be done by qualified healthcare professionals who will perform additional tests like ultrasound scans depending on what they observe on routine urinalysis tests conducted at their laboratory/clinic. In some cases further investigations into medical history may need to performed before making a prognosis regarding potential underlying causes for presenting symptoms.*

It's always best practice that individuals consult with their healthcare provider if they have any concerns about changes occurring with their body - including if they notice any signs of blood appearing in their urine during early stages of pregnancy which should never be ignored especially due consideration being taken towards possible consequences associated with complications arising from delays in treatment where appropriate follow up action has not been timely carried out!
