Excellent Experience with Pilonidal Sinus Surgery I would like to sincerely thank Dr. Pravin Shinde for successfully performing my Rhomboid Excision with Limberg Flap Reconstruction surgery for Pilonidal Sinus. I had been suffering from Pilonidal Sinus since 2021. I underwent laser surgery in 2022, but unfortunately, it was not successful and the condition recurred. After consulting Dr. Pravin Shinde, he recommended Rhomboid Excision with Limberg Flap Reconstruction to completely remove the infected tissue and address the problem more effectively. The surgery took around an hour and I had approximately 20 stitches. The initial 3–4 days were somewhat painful, but the recovery progressed well. My stitches were removed after around 18 days. I was advised to take proper bed rest for at least 3 weeks, followed by minimal walking and gradual resumption of normal activities. In about a month, I had recovered completely. I am very satisfied with the treatment and the overall experience. Dr. Pravin Shinde explained the procedure clearly, guided me throughout the recovery, and performed the surgery successfully.
