Dr. Dinesh Kini

when I was 19-year-old (in 2006) I went for his consultation with all the blood and stool reports. Stools report was showing Occult blood positive and other doctor said blood loss and wrongly diagnosed as Blood loss through stools and also, I had a feeling of going to washroom more often. Through, Physical examination only, he said that here was no blood loss ("boy is looking pink". I still remember these words). His words made me confident and more comfortable that time. This shows he has more empathy towards patients. He did endoscopy and colonoscopy and diagonized as IBS and suggested only one tablet for three months. Very professional and a friendly doctor. Inspite of his tight schedule, he replied to our message and gave us a slot to meet him, which is extremely appreciated. He cares for the patients with alot of confidence even at the first visit which ensured us that the right treatment will be given. I had received alot of great feedback regarding Dr.kini before my visit. After the consultation and the treatment, my grandmother was very happy about the extremely fast recovery and such a difference in her health which she had never felt in a long time. She has been suffering alot because of her gastric issues for more than 20 years. Dr.kini had prescribed only one tablet and she's fine now. I had a chance to see his endoscopy procedure, which i would say was 100% painless and fast that the patient will feel completely fit in 5 mins. ** * ** I would HIGHLY recommend him.

The doctor was able to do initial diagnosis. He recommended me colonoscopy for getting clarity on the problem and realised that there is no issue. I felt this is money game for them

Kindly read my review before visiting Dr Kini.I visited him for Ulcerative Colitis as I was told that there is no cure of this disease. I was already devastated and feeling helpless so I was seeking his help as a second opinion. I never had any idea that a doctor could be that rude and arrogant, ** prescribed the same medicines which my previous doctor suggested me and when we asked some questions regarding the disease he told us to go to some less busy doctor who has no patients and would spend time in answering our questions. If you are going to him for a second opinion I would suggest you to rethink ** ** ** ** ** * Practo is also not mentioning that there are different charges for 1st time visit,2nd time visit and 2nd opinion for which i paid 2800. I felt the amount charged is not justified ** * When a pateint seeks help, they are already in a helpless state * ** ** ** As a working professional I'm taking time to write my experience which represents his behaviour has left a mark in mind which I will not forget. * ** ** ** ** But as an experience on a whole I would visit a doctor who can answer my health related questions rather than googling and visiting top doctors from practo.

Dr Kini was extremely thorough in his understanding of the problem I had visited him for. As i had gallstones, he went into an indepth analysis of what course fo treatment I may need to take. He is very patient and explains all the different aspects of treatment we can be offered and takes time to answer all relevant and irrelevant questions from us patiently. Once surgery was the option we were going for, he made us feel very comfortable with the whole process, explained the same and helped us connect with the surgeon (Dr SAurabh Mishra) who perfomed the surgery. All in all, he was very helpful, supportive, factual in his thoughts, approachable and made us feel very reassured that we were in good hands. Wanted to thank him for helping us during this time!
