Dr.Balaji is an excellent and top notch physician.. My brother has been suffering from IBD for nearly 2 years, we have visited atleast 5 to 6 big hospitals, all they did was repeated tests and medications and his got very bad to point of needing a major surgery, even after surgery his health was very bad and finally we consulted Dr.Balaji and he was very patient and helpful and made us understand the ups and downs of this disease, it's been 2 years now and my brother is back to how he used to be before getting IBD. He is a top specialist when it comes to IBD and gastro diseases

I have consulted Dr Balaji for my IBS and Gastric issues. He is keen to listen all our concerns and he will ask us questions to find out the actual issue. And he will explain the problem to us in very detailed and understandable manner (non medical terms which any one can understand). ** experience on his area of work.
I was bit scared while doing the procedure of Colonoscopy , his explanation and friendly nature makes me comfortable, he takes care of patient at most care. I strongly recommend Dr Balaji for any Gastric issues without any second thought.

Had to admin my wife in an emergency situation as she can not sit or lie down due to severe pain in the back. Quick diagnosis (through scans and blood tests) by Dr. Balaji, while we were in emergency ward, showed significant accumulation of stones in gallbladder which the doc suggested had to be removed immediately. His friendliness very much helped in calming down my wife who otherwise is afraid of even an injection. I was more concerned about the mental agony my wife had to undergo, but with repeated assurances and explanations given by the doctor, she could overcome the fear and anxiety more easily than I anticipated. He was very patient in clarifying all the queries we had. It was easy to connect with him offline for minor clarifications and the follow-up sessions post the surgery were helpful in assuring my wife about her well-being. I would suggest him for any gastroenterology related issues.

Dr. Shetty made a comment about my parents' literacy within the first few minutes of meeting me. That should tell you something.
The session lasted around fifteen minutes. In that time, he asked me one clinical question. Just one. When I mentioned I had a prior GERD diagnosis, he told me not to tell him the diagnosis and to describe my symptoms. I said acid reflux. He said the same thing again. I still don't know what he wanted me to say.
The only one question he did ask was whether I drink. To which i honestly said maybe once in two weeks. * ** ** ** * ** * * ** ** ** ** ** * ** ** ** ** ** **
I didn't even know he prescribed meds as he explained nothing. * ** * ** * * * **
I walked in with a six-month complaint (with a history of first diagnosis 2.5 years ago. I walked out with a prescription for the exact diagnosis I had mentioned when I entered. **

The doctor does not have the patience to review the patient's history or understand their health issues. He is always in a hurry to leave the hospital and does not take the time to listen to the patient's concerns clearly. We are very disappointed with the consultation, and my mother felt nervous after meeting him. Not recommended at all.
Here’s a corrected version of your statement:
When we asked if any treatment, such as an enema, would be provided for the motion issue, he suggested that it would not be given there ** ** ** * ** **

After reading numerous positive reviews about this doctor, we decided to visit him for my father's complicated issues related to piles. Despite having an appointment, we had to wait for 40 minutes because the doctor was on his rounds. When he finally arrived, he seemed disinterested in listening to my father's medical concerns and recommended continuing the current treatment. After explaining the issue in detail, he suggested a colonoscopy, a painful test that had been done a few months prior. Upon expressing our discomfort, he then suggested a sigmoidoscopy, mentioning it could be optional. ** ** ** ** *
