Dr. Milind Hatekar

I had a very good experience with Dr. Milind Hatekar. He was patient while examining my pet and explained the health concern and treatment clearly. His experience and calm approach made the whole consultation comfortable for both me and my pet. I would definitely recommend Dr. Milind Hatekar to other pet parents looking for the best pet doctor in Pune.

My dog suddenly developed a bad ear infection and was constantly scratching. Dr. Hathekar checked him thoroughly, explained the issue and started treatment. The infection cleared up quickly and he’s back to his playful self. Really happy with PetAid Clinic Aundh.

1. Dr. Milind Hatekar (>20 yrs experience) was not available. So basically I paid the same visiting charges for a much less experienced doctor. 2. For a medium severity ear infection, doctor visit charges was Rs.300/- , treatment charges was Rs.980/-!! Rs.980/- for a 4min ear cleaning job seems quite steep!! 3. The doctor gave my pet an antibiotic injection and told me to to visit for 2~3 more days for injection and treatment (Basically for the Rs.980/- ear cleaning job). I requested him to give me antibiotic tablets, and ear cleansing solution so I can do the same treatment at home as my wife too was hospitalised for surgery and it was too hectic/impossible for me to visit him for next 3 days. ** ** ** ** * ** ** 4. To give the doctor some credit yes my pet did feel better after visiting him and was able to sleep without fluttering his ears too much. But I did not visit him again. After 2 days my wife was discharged and then I visited another vet through a reference. She gave me antibiotic tabs, ear cleanser and told me to continue the medication and treatment at home for 3~4 days and then visit her. For all this she charged me Rs.400/-!!! 5. The clinic did not even write the name of the antibiotic injection that they gave. They just wrote medicines!! Though I have not met Dr. Hatekar himself, ** ** **

Doent inform patients the costing involved. ** Charged me hefty amount of whooping 14000 for a few hours of treatment. Worst part is that he gives his own medicines without name or lable at a highest price * ** *obvioulsy doent inform patients in advance about it. Clinic inftastructure ia average and nowhere justifies the costs. ** ** ** **

I was quite worried when my cat stopped eating and became unusually quiet. Dr. Hathekar diagnosed the problem, explained the treatment patiently and guided us through the recovery. She was back to eating normally within a few days. Very reassuring experience at PetAid Clinic Aundh.
