Dr. Ramen Goel

I'd been struggling with my weighty issue a very long time...tried everything frm dieting, joining a gym n finally even liposuction which almost turned fatal...Everything failed n i put on much more weight than ever before...😞 I had given up on life actually, barely able to walk even a 100 mts without panting, felt terrible going out coz i couldn't even sit on the regular chairs with arms, needed extension belts on a flight...hated myself n cringed when i would hear the overt comments of passers by 'oh ma, ki mota'.😢 Finally, on a doctor's advice, i looked at bariatric surgery as my last resort... I decided to take tht chance, inspite of having a devastating experience with the liposuction earlier... living like tht was no good anyways... I googled for the top 5 bariatric surgeons in India...met a doctor, n though convinced about the procedure, still had my own doubts. Then came the appointment with Dr Goel...met up with both Dr Ramen Goel n Dr Madhu Goel. What an awesome n gentle team of doctors. They explained the problem n the solution in such a simplistic way, clearing all my doubts all at once...Just one meeting n my mind was made... Within a week i got all my tests n had the surgery... I weighed a whopping 138 kgs... In a year n a half I lost 54.5 kgs... Today, 5 years down the line, I'm proud to say tht i've been able to maintain tht weight loss...I weigh 81 kgs today. Though still overweight, my life has changed as i never thought it would..I've got a new lease of life...😊 I could actually go on n on coz my happiness n gratefulness knows no bounds.. But i'll end saying a big THANK YOU to Dr Goel n his entire team...they're truly a blessing n a boon to all of us...🤗🙏

Dr Ramen Goel and his team are excellent. They were very patient with me and explained the Do's & Don't of pre-op and post-op care. I was 154kg when I first visited him in July-18 and had my obesity surgery in Sep-18 and in Mar-19 I am at 108 kgs. I am going to still loose more Kgs. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and had to wear the Bi-pap machine. That is also now stopped. I am very happy with the operation as it has given me new changeover. Thanks Doc!!! Dr. Ramen Goel is very friendly. My life has changed alot. My hba1 was 7.9 before bariatric surgery and now it is around 5.6. I have a newfound confidence and energy! I used to be lazy but now I can now climb forts and go for treks.
