Dr. Sameer for me was godsend! I was previously seeing another doctor but then that approach wasn’t really working out for me. I blindly took my chances by booking an appointment with Dr. Sameer at Apollo and right from our first appointment, he was patient, kind enough to empathize with me, didn’t bucket me to fit a patient mould, instead after very very careful consideration, came up with a treatment plan catered to my specific concerns and needs. His treatment approach is very simple - let’s find the root cause of your problem and not just slap a bandaid on the symptoms you’re experiencing. He is very patient when listening and happy to answer all your concerns, also reminding you to ask him about anything you might need to, in case he missed out on asking you about it. I am diagnosed with severe combined-type ADHD, affecting both focus and hyperactivity, as well as autism, scoring in the 98th percentile for autistic traits. From getting put on PIP in the first quarter of this year at work, to having worked so well throughout the next couple of months while Dr. Sameer treated me, I not only received a contract renewal at work, but the company I work for is now nominated for an award internationally, for the feature I was responsible for. On paper, someone like me couldn’t really achieve anything. This was genuinely only possible because of the carefully designed treatment plan he came up for me, and always encouraging me to see myself beyond my limitations. He’s one of the best doctors with not just but also in the way where he sees you beyond your diagnosis and acknowledges the human being underneath it all.
