Dr. N Shailaja

She is a decent doctor, but I have seen best doctors before in Hyderabad. Suggestion to the patients in search of any doctor: Look for the doctors who stick to one hospital, they take good care of their parients, remember their histories more and generally more empathetic. I have been in search of Urogynecolgist for months, as they are very few in bengaluru. With multi disciplinary problems that I have , I felt it would be better to meet single doctor instead of going to Gastro, Gynec & Urologists. It was my 1st consultation with this Doctor. I have a lot of experience with gynecologists in my previous so many years of health issues. I would say she is good, she knows the stuff, she has very less time as she is extremely busy with lot of patients in many different hospitals. Also a feedback on the nurse helping the doctor; she is old & she might have seen so many patients like lakhs in her career. I think its time for her to retire or go to some supervisor jobs other than on field.

The doctor was good and very helpful. She explained everything clearly, and I am trusting my journey with her. However, the clinic experience was slow, especially the follicular scan where I had to wait for almost an hour due to staff shortage. Overall, I would rate the doctor and experience as 4 out of 5 and would recommend her to others.

When we subsequently learned that there were concerns regarding the baby's health, we were already going through significant emotional stress. * ** ** ** * ** ** ** The clinic also continued following up regarding yoga/training sessions. While I understand that they may have been trying to provide additional support* * ** ** The Pre & Post natal Yoga which they train is charged 5k/month with them & 5k for 3 months outside. That said, I appreciate the clinic's efforts and their structured approach to patient services. I have since changed doctors ** ** * * .Overall, I believe medical expertise is important, but empathy, communication and respecting a patient's decisions are equally important, particularly when patients are dealing with emotionally difficult circumstances.
