I consulted Dr. Anand Utture for my kidney stone problem and had a very good experience. I was quite anxious initially and had a lot of questions about whether I would need a procedure. Dr. Utture went through my reports carefully and explained the situation and treatment options in a way that was easy for me to understand.
What I really appreciated was that he was very straightforward and did not unnecessarily complicate things. He gave me confidence about the treatment and guided me properly throughout the process. The procedure and follow-up were handled very well, and I was comfortable with the overall care.
I am very happy with my experience and would definitely recommend Dr. Utture to anyone looking for an experienced urologist, especially for kidney stone treatment.

Two days ago, I took my father to Dr. Utture as he was having infection problem with his Penile catheter. Dr. Utture quickly took my father from his consulting room to his OPD and provided a bladder wash and changed the catheter immediately. He advised an age-appropriate line of treatment -- SPC for my father. He has excellent connections at all major hospitals and was able to get coordinated treatment for my father's chest congestion issue as well, before the SPC surgery that Dr. Utture will be performing today.
Dr. Utture is results oriented; just go with his recommended line of treatment for the best outcome.
Dr. Utture is a Rock Star!

The doctor diagnosed my problem as hypochondria (health anxiety) and said my overactive bladder was not particularly large issue but my health anxiety was worsening it. I took the diagnosis and ordered my medicine. As I am waiting for my tablets to arrive so I can start the course, I can't help but wonder how wrong his behaviour was.He sounded so arrogant all the time. This was third-opinion consultation for me. I had been to two different Urologists before and their treatments didn't work. When I tried to ask him about other symptoms, it was clear that he wasn't willing to answer. My psychiatrist had recommended me to keep drinking as much water as possible (at least 2-3L), because I was having balance issues (minor fainting). His recommendation was to reduce water intake down to 1.5L per day for a week. He quickly referred me to Practo and said I am questioning the best Urologist in Mumbai. When I asked him if this 1.5L limit is permanent, he gave another reply reeking of bad attitude. I found that it was tasteless and very unprofessional for a doctor of his pedigree to be talking this way. * * ** * * ** ** He didn't give me time to explain whatever I had come to say. Had a look at my files, asked me a few questions, and was confident he had nailed the cause. without ever bothering to explain to me what happened and how it happened. I had to Google to understand meaning of what he said. What's the point of paying 1200rs for the appointment if the doctor refuses to listen to you and can't explain the cause properly? The whole thing took barely 10 minutes as he was pretty apparently in a rush. ** ** * ** * I don't think I will ever go back to Dr. Anand Utture. Even if his treatment does work, I will probably talk to another Urologist in that hospital.

Experience was very bad. For 8.30 p.m. appointment I had to wait till 9.40 and inspite of appointment, other patients were taken in. Total mismanagement. I was alone there and a couple who had appointment after me, at 8.45 were taken first because he was making a noise because of delay.

Dr Anand Utture has been a friend to our family since 10 years and he has treated my mother in law Mrs Zita Pesso for kidney stones thrice from 2011 to 2015. He is one of the best urologist in the city and his clinic has a homely feel to it. He has helped with everything from hospital admissions to discharge and has always been encouraging. He has also performed surgery on my father in law Mr Herbert Pesso which was high risk. But he did it smoothly without any complications. We as a family would like to recommend him as a urologist as he is always there to help his patients.

I am 68 years old, I was a bit worried and nervous to get this procedure due to the prevailing pandemic situation. However , Dr Anand Utture gave me the required confidence from Day 1 until the procedure was completed. I truly admire his skill to execute the procedure smoothly. I would sincerely thank him for this painless experience.
