I trusted Dr. Shankar Kurpad blindly, and that was my biggest mistake.
I met with an accident and went to a nearby hospital in Kasturi Nagar, where the first doctor diagnosed me with Compartment Syndrome, a serious condition where pressure builds up in the muscles and can cause permanent damage. I was told I needed surgery within 24 hours to avoid serious consequences.
However, I then went to Columbia Asia Yeshwantpur, where Dr. Shankar Kurpad took over my treatment. Unfortunately, I trusted his judgment completely, but his approach put me in a life-threatening situation. ** * ** * ** **
I strongly advise against trusting Dr. Shankar Kurpad with your health. ** ** ** ** My sincere request to everyone: please, please do not consult with Dr. Shankar Kurpad.

The ' Fracture and Orthopaedic 'clinic did not keep up time. I made a booking for 5:30 PM and when I went there, they said it would take 1-1.5 hours to get a consultation with the doctor. I was disappointed and I left as not everyone always got time to wait. I can understand delays of 15-30 minutes when advanced booking is made, beyond that- they should have informed earlier.

Dr. Shankar took a lot of time to explain each and every aspect of my mother's spinal problem to us. He was hearing us out and also patiently replying to all our questions /queries. I have happy that my mother is under treatment with him.

I visited the doctor for my shoulder pain.I have notseen such an impatient doctor who does not want to listen to the patient,he did not even examine but instead asked to take some pain killer.We were really hurt.I would not recommend this doctor to any one.
