Dr. (Prof) Col Pradyot Sarkar

I'll forever be grateful to Dr. Pradyot Sarkar. My mother was suffering with troubles like sleep disorder, insomnia, indigestion and other concurrent problems.She was in a very worrying state and was silently taking non-prescribed sleeping pills which was making things worse. First I took her to one phychiatrist at Durgapur Mission Hospital. That doctor gave many drugs of around Rs. 3000/- per month but things were not improving. My mom was becoming medicine dependent regarding her daily life. Then I came to know about Dr. Pradyot Sarkar. What I liked most is he listened, listened & listened. Even one day i was not able to take my mom to the hospital during a revisit but the doctor spoke with my mom over phone and took a note of her improvement. Due to his prescribed controlled medicine ( costing only Rs.200/- per month) and by God's blessings, my mom is doing absolutely great for a year now. She is back to herself with no issues and is Happy most importantly. I wish to take her to the doctor to show the improvements but isn't possible right now due to the pandemic.

Am extremely satisfied. He listens to the patients problem in details and investigate. Moreover he relaxes the patient and behavior is extremely pleasant. I have been under several other psychiatrists before but such a good and soothing experience regained my trust over doctors again. Thanks a lot.

Thank you for your restless help and support in that situation.. perhaps without your help we were totally helpless...you answered our call whenever we need you and even called us to know patient's situation on hourly basis, that's really praise worthy. I was having lots of stress in my work place and in family.I visited few professionals,but it didn't help.My days became miserable and was feeling like leaving everything.I tried alcohol,but it gave more complications.But counselling and little medicine by this doctor has really helped me and now I am alright.

** ** I was diagnosed with depression and he didn't have a proper way of communicating with such patients, he made me feel a little bad. Although the medication he prescribed was good and it did the work, you can't visit him for psychotherapy though.

I was going through lots of crisis and was very disturbed.I was not getting sleep, feeling miserable and my self confidence was zero. I was not able to work or concentrate in studies.Then I found this doctor.I underwent counceling sessions and also took little medicines.Now I am very fine.He really has helped me a lot.
