Over a year ago my left kidney stopped functioning and I was referred to Dr. Deshpande. Since that time, my BP steadily increased, in spite of taking 7 different classes of medication. Dr. Deshpande approached my situation methodically with several tests and in the end concluded that my failing kidney must have been the cause of my high hypertension. He advised me to have it removed, which was done by Dr. Mangesh Patil, robotic/keyhole surgeon.
He had said he could not guarantee a positive result, but within a week my BP has come down to normal. I am very greatful to Dr. Deshpande, who increased my chances at a longer and better life, and did so in a positive manner: "Don't worry, we'll get this sorted out, it's no rocket science.'

** * He explains the problem in length. Before any treatment he understands the root cause of the illness and then considering all facts gives steps ahead to resolve it. Very patient doctor. I am satisfied with his consultation.
