My mother is 63, and for the last 8 years she had been suffering with severe knee pain and a heavy limp. She kept putting off surgery out of fear. We got both her knees replaced through robotic surgery on 7th September 2026 at Manipal Hospital, Varthur Road, and the surgery went well. He is available on call anytime we reach out. When my mother asked him to stay during her suture removal, he politely stood by until the nurse finished her work. Humble, polite, and a true professional. Our family is grateful to him.

I visited Dr. Shivakumar Y S for a knee injury. He was very friendly and made the experience pleasant. The clinic was clean, and the staff were very good. Overall, it was a nice experience.

Please avoid this doctor. For my 85 year old grandfather he is suggesting knee replacement surgery. We were already having standing xray of knee still he asked us to take xray. He was insisting me to convince him for surgery. He didn't even listened properly where was problem in knee and neither he was interested in seeing old report and injection which pain specialist has given. only one solution, knee replacement.

Consultation was genuine .The diagnosis of the problem was based on certain mindset which could have been better.
