Ms. Alka Bhasin

I've seen doctors all my life for my mother but Dr Alka is something else. Consultation with her feels like working on a research paper with your guide. She discusses everything at length. The cause, the condition, the medicine, the options, the threats, the precautions, the plans, the goals, every bit. She's medical ethics personified. I can only hope India gets more and more doctors like her

My mother had a kidney removed for a tumor. She has been doing well under constant guidance and monitoring of Dr Bhasin. She is a very thorough and methodical doctor with only her patients well being at heart. She may prescribe a number of tests and have low patience for medically incorrect patient or other doctor’s behaviour, but it only shows her concern for patients wellbeing. We have been taken well care off by her over the past 2 years. Waiting period and stuff.... we don’t care in front of the guidance we get.

She never replied to their patient, neither call after 1 appointment, after scheduling the appointment online she did not pick the call. Kindly no one take appointment, wastage of time

My experience with Dr. Alka Bhasin, Nephrologist, Max Hospital, Saket, was extremely disappointing. I visited her three times, each time with a proper appointment, however, I was made to wait for 3–4 hours. ** ** ** ** ** ** She advised certain costly lab test ** ** ** hospital should ensure equal, respectful and transparent treatment for every patient, irrespective of whether they are private, foreign, or Government Panel beneficiaries. I sincerely hope the hospital management will look into these concerns and take appropriate corrective action.

Please do not make the mistake of consulting Dr. Alka Bhasin. She is unfriendly, and indifferent towards patients. Expect a minimum 4–5 hour wait, and even then she is often busy with other work instead of attending to you.
