However Dr Ajay Shetty is super master of his trade which we all are aware , the most important quality which differentiate him from other doctors are his humanity and smiling face to all of his patients. He is great at diagnosis. He is great at suggesting right medications. He explains issues/repercussions with multiple options of treatments. He is well organized. My Dad (K Divakara Menon- 83 Years) shifted from Kerala to Bangalore in a very bad shape,Entrusted him to Dr Ajay - he diagnosed the problem in our first visit itself, still he suggested to go through all respective tests to confirm the same. Instead of jumping to tough treatments, keeping his age in mind- he suggested appropriate treatment and he is keeping well after 1 month. Thank you soo much Doctor.

Consulted Dr. Ajay Shetty for my father aged 65 years for prostate enlargement issues and he underwent TURP surgery for the same on 25-Mar-2019 . Prior to that consulted Doctor as OPD patient on two occasions 2-Mar and 9-Mar. Before consulting Dr. Shetty I had consulted other doctors as well but the kind of surety I got after meeting him gave me the confidence to go ahead with the procedure. Surgery was done without any difficulty and was successful at Sakra Hospital. Throughout he has been a source of support, explaining the issue and procedure in sufficient detail. Even switching to Hindi for my father when he found him more comfortable in Hindi. Would also like to thank his team and specially Praveen who was our contact point for planning the surgery and available throughout. I had met Dr Shetty for a 2nd opinion on the diagnosis , treatment and next steps given by another Hospital . I was very worried by their prognosis and expensive battery of additional tests that had prescribed. After a detailed examination of my case and reports, Dr. Shetty was able to point out an important test that had been omitted by the other Hospital. He also used his vast experience to quickly diagnose the cause of my illness and recommended appropriate medication. I was very relieved after my meeting with the doctor and very happy with the explanations.

The doctor came across as rude. He didn't seem interested in listening to or understanding the patient's concerns. It felt like the consultation was rushed, and I left feeling unheard. Based on my experience, I would not recommend him to others.

We visited Dr. Ajay for my 80 year old father in law's prostate related issue. Post surgery he showed as PPT slides stating his prostate having cancer of stage 2 and 3, with no regards of his age and mental health and very insisting on making him under go another surgery. ** ** ** ** ** ** * ** I don't agreed to his approach of showing slides to 80 year old with high BP condition. He also referred doctor from HCG, who was reading us report.

Not good . .not having serving or empathetic attitude towards consulting patients by taking 800 for each visit .I saw him in lotus and sakra ** ** * ** * I have already showed him an earlier doctor's ultra abdomen scan ..at last when I seriously talked to him what's the process for removing stone he said will discuss procedure next time take this report and come ..same repeated answers two times.. and he will visit lotus for 45 mins and when I go he dint listen and urine test ..by the time I go and come with my report he is not available.. I was not happy after showing lot of patience ..so I immediately got a reference from an medico one of my college friend (during pre college)another urologist who is a surgeon , and he did the process in a day ..thank God .
