I had a C-section performed by Dr. Kedar Marathe in June 2025. I chose him based on the reviews and overall experience he had in the medical field, thinking I would have a smooth and stress-free delivery. However, my experience with him was disappointing. During one of my checkups, I asked him if it was okay that my weight had not increased much throughout the pregnancy, only about 7 to 8 kg, as my gynaecologist in Thane had mentioned it should ideally increase by 12 to 15 kg. He replied that there are many women in Bharat who face far more complications during pregnancy, * ** * ** * ** ** ** ** ** ** * On the day of the operation, there was no prior discussion about how the procedure would go. I had no idea about the catheter insertion, * ** * ** ** . After the delivery, he visited only once. * ** ** ** ** * * * * ** ** As this was my first time becoming a mother, it would have been very helpful if everything had been explained clearly, ** The hospital charged almost ₹40,000, ₹25,000 covered by insurance and ₹15,000 as premium doctor fees. We had no issue with the cost itself, but the overall service experience was quite disappointing.

My wife who is pregnant had a sudden acute pain on the left side of the abdomen. As her gynae was not available she referred us to dr Kedar Marathe in ONP hospital Pimple Saudagar. There her sonography was done and she was given painkiller. Then doctor asked us to get her admitted in ONP Shivaji nagar. During 24 hours of stay in the hospital,we were not provided any clear update on the next course of the treatment. Dr Marathe kept us waiting for 2 days in the hospital but never visted. I have never seen such unprofessional behaviour by a doctor who first recommended a patient to get admitted and then never visited her or even speak on phone. Junior doctors in the hospital were also clueless on the next steps and only used to call Dr Kedar when I insisted to know about next steps.

"Motherhood" is something I am experiencing ONLY because of this very MAN (KBM). No Matter it was a very long struggle since 2014, the end was a sweet and memorable one. I still remember meeting him in 2014 after we had given up hopes with the other medication I took that did more harm to me than any good. The one thing of the many that he mentioned to us was - " I need you to tell yourself that you are married today!! and forget what ever has happened in the past". This was where we were impressed and started with the treatment. Dr Marathe follows a step by step procedure rather than coming down to immediate conclusions. You need to be very frank and open with him and he will do his best. You also need to be very tolerant with his line of treatment, no matter it takes long but is a definite success. He is very much approachable and responds to any of your queries even if they are really silly. You don't have to wait in the hospital queues for long unless he is really tied up in any emergency. Today I am a mother of a two month old son and is all because of him. I would highly recommend him to all the people out there who are struggling. Thanks Asha Valke
