** I took my mother-in-law for a second opinion as the first eye hospital scared us and asked us to get laser treatment to remove blood clots in the eye and the laser treatment was costing us Rs 36000, we wanted to take a second opinion.. I went through comments / feedback for several eye doctors in practo and Dr Anupama's feedback caught my attention.. I called and got same day appointment.
She throughly checked my mother-in-law's eyes and explained everything in detail and assured us that laser is not required and asked us to stop an ointment that was given by previous hospital and asked us to meet after 2 weeks.
After 2 weeks we met her and the blood clots were gone and my mother-in-law's eyes sight was better.. She checked the power of glasses that was being used and said they are very high and Dr adjusted lens to current requirement.
Awesome doctor.. We have decided we will only go to Dr Anupama's clinic here after for entire family eye problems.
Special Note to Dr Anupama.
We are overwhelmed with your sincerity, expertise, patience and more that that your human touch. We are glad we found a gem like you ** **

We had consulted Dr. Anupama Kumar for eye inflammation for our 2 year old baby. She had listened patiently to us and also gave the right medicines which started showing a positive effect in 1 day. A follow-up consultation was told mandatorily during which the doctor had done an eye power test.
Cons:
There was a waiting time of nearly 1.5 hours at Kadugodi clinic for follow-up. Though we understand that ample time is required to understand a patient's problem, in such cases it would be better if the time slot per patient can be extended with lesser number of appointments in a day.

Dr. Anupama Kumar is very polite and listens to the problems of the patients with patience. The staff in her Kadugodi clinic is very friendly. I would like to specially mention Mr. Shivshankar, who is very friendly and cooperative on all our visits to the clinic.

I consulted Dr. Anupama Kumar yesterday as I had pain at right eye. She can concluded that that is because of the power change and given updated power prescription. The food part is she didn't give any unnecessary medicines. She suggested to visit after 10 days if still pain persist though after changing glasses. I'm hoping for the best. I strongly recommend her

If you scroll through the comments you would notice that invariably most complaint about the wait time. And despite that if they aren't able to do anything about it it basically shows inefficiency. First bookings can only be made the same day as the clinic says they cannot be sure the doctor would come the next day and if she would at what time? wow.Now I called up the clinic at 1030, they told me that the doctor would be here at 1200 PM only and asked me to come by 01.15 PM. When we asked for 01.30 they first said they mentioned that the doctor may leave early say before the 03PM stipulated as the consulting time. I somehow manage the 01.30 appointment and reach there by 01.10 and I see there are 6 people waiting to see the doctor before me. I am baffled how they had planned to get around 10-12 people pulled in before my appointment at 01.30. No wonder no one is able to see the doctor on time. And it is not some place where you can wait for long. There are limited number of seating spaces. There is no ventilation and air conditioner is off and ceiling fans on. No one was ar the reception desk, one guy was busy showing some frames to a prospective buyer and as I stood before him for almost 5 minutes he did not for one second acknowledge my presence.Yes some people may argue that it is ok as long as the doctor consultation was ok (and I don't know how it is since I didn't want to wait for more than 1 hour in a claustrophobic environment), ** Each and every person's time has value and I really hope folks understand that.

Very professional approach. Took time to seek past details about the patient and explained to the patient the reasons for the present eye condition. Explained what to avoid and gave minimum medication. The front desk staff displayed professionalism in his handling the waiting patients.
