I had very bad swollen / bleeding gum issue for the last 4 years and all the dentist that I visited would just do cleaning or deep cleaning and advised me on proper brushing techniques and diet. I have followed all that was suggested to me over the last 4 years by various dentist, but the bleeding did not stop and because of that I use to have bad breath as well. Then I decided not to go to any other dentist as it will be the same story of cleaning as no one was doing proper diagnosis and provide me a solution. Few months back I started to feel it was getting even bad, so I had no choice but to look for another dentist, but this time I did some search on google to find a good doctor and as you can see there are many clinics with good rating, but somehow I chose Dental Solutions @ Indiranagar and asked for an experience doctor and it was Dr.Balu himself had picked up the call and after explaining my problem, he asked me to come over as he himself was a specialist in gum related problems. I visited the clinic and while the doctor was still on his way, the staff there ensured they did the basic scanning and everything ready without having to spend much time. Once Dr. Balu reached the clinic, he listened patiently to all that I had to explain and then he examined my gums and scan report. Then the he clearly explained that I was affected by chronic periodontists, showing me with images on his computer and 3 different treatments that was available and the cost as well. In the last 4 years all the doctors that I visited never gave me such a clear diagnose and treatment that was required. I visited dental solutions Dr.Balu, just for consultation, but after his diagnoses and treatment plan, I decided to take up the treatment same day and also decided to go with the treatment that Dr would best recommend for me, so on his suggestion I underwent wpt laser treatment, it is painless compared to other methods, so had 2 sitting and in fact after the 1st sitting itself the bleeding stopped which is normal even when other doctors do the cleaning, so I was mindful of that and on completing the 2nd sitting, he suggested that I go for local drug delivery, I agreed and followed his advice. After 2 sittings doctor advised me on gum massage / brushing techniques and medication, also did not have to run round having to buy medicines, it was all in one place. I had my next visit scheduled after a month and there was no bleeding or bad breath, Dr. had took my pre and post treatment pics and showed me the difference when I visited him the next time and he said that he would be publishing pics on medical journals. Long story short, Dr.Balu is an experienced doctor with latest technology and I am happy that I meet him and decided to undergo the treatment that he suggested me. Now it’s more than 2.5 months since the treatment and no bleeding or swollen gums. Thanks Dr.Balu.

TWith high regards and due respect to Dr Balasubramanya . He is a very great doctor with lot of patience and consideration. During the first appointment he had asked me what medications I’m taking for hypertension in which a wrong drug was prescribed and he corrected it.And he discusses the dental problem very clearly before treatment is started. Previously I had met 3 dental doctors and all the three had frightened me tor get surgery done and none of them told me about the wrong medication I was taking for hypertension. After meeting Sir without surgery he has cured me of periodontitis with his personal care by performing the LANAP procedures and I was healed with in 3 days. And now I don’t have any such problem and I’m very happy and my teeth are normal and I’m very happy with the doctor,staff and the ambience of the clinic. ** ** ** hygienic clinic which I’ve visited among the 4. There are no words to explain how happy I am and I think he has got good magic in his hands which I never expected. It’s a miracle by the grace of god and doctor. I thank him so much from the bottom of my heart and my family. With high regards and due respect to the doctor for his patience and behaviour and his nature to oblige and cooperate. Great hospitality and everybody is very kind. I highly recommend Dental Solutions for any dental problem and I once again thank Doctor Sir with high regards. I’m happy and treatment is totally worth the money we pay and compared to other places is the same or even lower and the best part is that he does not frighten the patients the way other doctors do.

The moment I mentioned that I need dental care, my son in law recommended Dr Balu had earlier treated by him . I am very glad I went to Dr Balu. He is a very caring doctor . He puts the patients at ease by his in depth explanation of the results of his investigations with drawings and you tube clips . He patiently answers all questions and then recommends the various treatment alternatives with costs so that the patient can make an educated decision for the future course of action. I am midway thru my gum treatment and crown/ bridge fixing and am very satisfied with the progress so far. Dr Balu and his wife Dr Ramya complement each other very efficiently and take care of the respective roles in the treatment seamlessly without wasting any time . The Clinic is clean and hygienic and all the other doctors and staff are very friendly and coordinate well to see that the wait time is bare minimum and the patient is well taken care of. I would recommend Dental Solutions to everybody .

Quite unprofessional and rude both Dr Ramya and Dr Balasubramanya. Initialy spoke to Dr Balasubramanya over the phone where he mentioned a price. Kept urging to come to the clinic to discuss further. Made an appt and arrived to be kept waiting while others were being prioritized. Finally after checking in with the receptionist/intern when I could consult the Dr, a junior Doctor took me in for an initial examination who asked me for details but just brushed it off and passed me on which was a bit pointless. Dr Ramya came in, saw i was a young unaccompanied female by myself and hardly spent any time asking anything. She very briefly looked at my mouth for a second and then jumped straight into costs quoting 5x the amount already discussed on the phone immediately without explaining anything about different types of appliances, asking any further questions or discussing anything at all. When i expressed surprise and quoted the price given over the phone, she then told me to wait in the waiting room with no explanantion and left me waiting like that for a while , while seeing other patients. I had to throughout the appointment keep checking in with the intern/receptionist person who was handling the reception. Then i was called to see Dr Balasubramian who i tried to explain the situation to and who kept trying to evade directly answering and who was back tracking. Said the 5x price in price difference depends on the size of the gaps between teeth which sounded suspicious quite frankly. * ** ** ** * ** ** return other than some small talk seeing as I was a young female consulting by myself. Dr Balasubramanya became furious and started shouting and behaving in a very inappropriate manner one on one when i mentioned that it's misleading to quote a price over the phone and after coming to clinic hiking up price 5x the amount and not keeping up to the initial price guide mentioned over the phone. I mentioned both our time was being wasted and if i had known this would have occured i would have never travelled the distance to come. Had nothing to say when i mentioned that but did say some very unprofessional things and screamed he wouldn't do any treatment. I was not at all interested in being treated in a place like this where this was the way the main doctor handles things so unprofessionally. No answers were provided to my queries instead i was humiliated. It seems like there was never any intention to provide treatment, ** ** ** ** ** Over all terrible experience and I wouldn't recommend. ** ** *

I went to Dr. Bala after a severe gum infection. Prior to visiting Dr. Bala, I had visited another periodontist in Indiranagar who recommended a flap surgery. When I asked for alternative and less invasive procedures, the periodontist said there are no other options available and scared me in the process. After doing my research I discovered two different types of laser procedures - Lanap and WPT. While Lanap is fairly popular, plenty of new research suggests that WPT is more effective given the dual laser approach. So I eventually found out about Dr Bala and his expertise in the WPT procedure. During my first consultation, he clearly evaluated the condition of the gums; suggested various options available including flap. He took his time to clarify the pros and cons of various options. I went with WPT and I’m so glad I did. The procedure was done over two sittings and the discomfort during and after the procedure was minimal. It’s been a month now and my gums are at its best health in many many years. No bleeding, no sensitivity. I would strongly recommend Dr. Bala for gum surgeries or any other periodontal procedures. He is at the top of his game and If you suspect a gum infection, don’t ignore it - go see Dr. Bala.
