** ** ** very kind and a very good listener. She is highly approachable. She will always answer your queries, even if you ask them repeatedly, she never gets frustrated. She will always calmly respond to your queries. Her Lamaze classes are excellent and she is one of the best. I remember, even after delivery, she had called a few times just to check the well being of my wife. This is not just my experience but also the experience of 3 of my friends too, who had consulted her for pregnancy. All in all a big thumbs up for her!!

Me and my wife consulted Rekha Ma'am, for whole maternity period and delivery. While in gurgaon, we find many knowledgeable doctors, but it's next to impossible to find a doctor who is so compassionate and calm in their approach. I highly recommend Dr Rekha guidance and consultation for all expecting parents. A doctor, whom u can ask silly questions, who answers ur every query, who listens whatever u have to say, who calls to her patient's about their well being.
A big heartfelt thanks to Rekha Ma'am, it's due to her guidance, we are proud parents of a baby girl..A Doctor who is a Guardian angel.

I visited with my mother to get her a rabies shot early in the morning. The doctor was all pleasant at that time. When it was time to get the follow up shot, we couldn't go to her clinic (Wellstar, Sec 57, Gurgaon) and the same shot wasn't available at most places in Delhi. I called up the doctor and asked her very politely about what can be done. She snapped at me and replied like she was doing me a huge favour. Moreover, the way she was talking made me feel like she just wanted me to go away and didn't inspire any confidence in her recommendation. I had to call up another doctor to verify her claims. Oh, and all this happened because she forgot to give us a prescription after her consultation.
I'm sorry that all of us aren't as well versed in medical science as you are Dr. Thakur. But you need to realize a big part of your job is to assuage the fears of your patients. I'm glad that none of my family members had to come to you for any OB-GYN issues.
I would definitely not recommend her to anyone else unless she works on her bedside manners.

I had chronic yeast infection ** ** Without checking my medical history, she told me herpes can spread without having intercourse like a virus.
She gave me medication for herpes and told me it will be fixed in six days. I had told her that I do not have herpes and even if I had herpes she should have guided me how to deal with this situation, emotionally mentally and physiologically.
** I was extremely paranoid and had a mental breakdown. * ** *

We took an appointment for my sister in law, for being available on Sunday since other doctors were not available. We were given a 6pm time slot. At about 4 Vandana from the clinic called to say that the doctor won't be coming and we need to reschedule for Monday. I said it was an emergency and perhaps the doctor could speak to the patient and prescribe medication over mail, we would make the payment digitally. She sent us the payment procedure details but the doctor never called the patient. We too didn't pay but was a complete let down and unprofessional. The point is why list yourself available on Sunday if you're not going to show up.
