I was Dr. Aneeta Talwar's patient twice. One was back in September 2021 where I was diagnosed with a large fibroid of about 15-20cm and I had to undergo myomectomy. While all other doctors, I consulted for second third opinions literally freaked out looking a the size of the fibroid, Dr. Talwar was confident that it can be treated well and I am happy to say that she did an amazing job. Explained all the possible precautions and risks very well. The second time I went to see her was for my pregnancy. I delivered a baby in 2024. My experience for those 38 weeks was nothing but phenomenal. It was a high risk pregnancy and she did her best to be ahead of those risks.She is very efficient at her job and does whatever is the best treatment for her patients. The best part about consulting her is that she won't sugar-coat situations. Instead she will be straightforward, practical and objective in her treatment. I am really thankful to her for the kind of emotional support she provided me during my delivery and myomectomy in the OT. She is an amazing and wonderful doctor. We consulted Dr. Anitha Talwar throughout all 9 months of my wife’s pregnancy. On the day of delivery, we visited the hospital three times and informed them that there was a water leak, but she did not admit my wife. Later that same day, my wife started having severe labor pains, so we immediately went to Manipal Hospital, Whitefield. When we reached the labor room, there was no duty doctor available—only two nurses were present. They called Dr. Anitha Talwar, but she refused to come to the hospital. We had taken treatment from this doctor throughout the entire 9 months expecting proper care on the day of delivery, but unfortunately, she refused to attend to my wife when it was most needed. We were also made to wait for almost two hours, during which my wife’s pain continued to increase. After this, we decided to go to Manipal Hospital, HAL. By God’s grace, everything went well there, and my wife delivered a healthy baby boy through normal delivery. This was a very disappointing experience for our family* * ** ** ** *

We didn’t have good experience with her. She orchestrated a situation where we had to go for cesarean for my wife and she didn’t give any rational explanation on why is it needed. ** **

And * ** ** * While we went there for consultation, she didn’t pay attention to the problem and was sticking to doing the operation next day first thing in the morning. She’s asked to do the sonography again but said she won’t be able to look at it the same day but rather would look at it the next day I.e. the operation day. Her recommendation has always worked the best for me. I went through an open myomectomy in 2017. It was a major 3.5 hours surgery. The surgery went very well without any complications and medication was also completed within a week of discharge. In 2019, I delivered a baby in a different location through c-section. My gynaecologist here said, “Myomectomy was done excellently. One couldn’t see and tell that such a major surgery had been performed as the scars were minimal during the previous surgery or healed very well.” She went on to say that she had never seen such an exceptional surgical work and the complications she was expecting didn’t occur due to this. I am so glad to have been initially referred to Dr. Aneeta - it was a blessing as it not only resolved the earlier issue but also prevented any long-term complications.
