Dr. Alok Banka

I am from Delhi and I came Bangalore for some time.Here I am suffering from cold. It is long old disease for me. Doctor listened all my words very carefully. He prescribed only nasal drops and they worked. Before my turn, one old man was explaining him about his hearing problem. He explained him due to age factor, your hearing capacity has been decreased and medicine will not work.You should use some hearing device.** * ** Very good doctor, humble,polite and more important master in his work The staff is also very Cooperative... very good does not differentiate between poor and rich patients I would highly recommend Cogent Care for any issue/surgery related to ENT. *

(This is a personal account feedback.) Over the past one year I have been under the treatment of Dr. Alok Banka. Have been referring him for my Sinus related issues. I can share that the diagnosis, advice and treatment has been extremely helpful and by far, more than what I could have expected!! What separates him from other Doctors: Have visited many Doctor’s in my lifetime but the experience I continue to have and had with him stands out due to the following reasons: 1. Diagnosis: This is by far the most important point I personally feel a Dr should possess. Dr. Alok is excellent in his diagnosis of a patient’s condition as he hears them out fully. 2. Medication: The medicines he recommended were extremely helpful and gave the desired result for me. Not a single medicine is recommended without a valid reason or without conducting relevant medical tests and he would clearly explain what medications he’s prescribing and what the medication is supposed to achieve (which it does!!) 3. One of the few Doctor’s I have known who don’t rampantly prescribe “Antibiotics” without valid clinical observations or reasons. Very rarely have I met a Dr. who allows & gives sufficient time for the body to heal naturally with supportive medications and only recommends antibiotics once the need is established. And the dosage is also for the specific requirement and not a random dose, which really helps the healing process. 4. Humane Touch: He’s an extremely patient Dr who fully hears his patients and fully understands not only the physical difficulties faced by his patients but also is sensitive to their mental and emotional side as it’s extremely important during any illness. Without doubt would recommend anybody who is reading this and seeking an ENT Doctor’s treatment to connect with him and have full faith in his treatment and follow it completely. Best Wishes,

My family is forever grateful to Dr Alok Banka for giving the best treatment to my brother for Sleep Apnoea. Surgery was performed by Dr. Alok, After the surgery and medication for 3 wks..my brother is recovering very well.The way he explains about the disease and treatment and follow-ups was very good. Words fail to stop in this review about Dr. Alok. You have to be one of the best in the busiess to give life back to people. A rare, down to earth brilliant doctor with such great expertise at work. I believed they do treat only the symptom and not the root cause of the disease. He is very straight to the point when it comes to diagnosing the disease and its treatment. His main aim was to make sure that his patient’s are non-dependent on drugs for life, through his practical, relevant and realistic treatments. I was moved by his genuineness. He thoroughly explained about the disease and the post-operative treatment which helped me ease my fear and related myths about the operation to a great extent. ** ** He was so sweet, very honest and straight forward. I had been suffering from frequent headache for more than 3 years.Then I visited him for a second opinion as another doctor had suggested me to undergo surgery in order to clear the sinuses and correction of Septum. The day I consulted him for the first time he saw the CT scan and told me the sinuses look clear and told me that he wouldn't perform a surgery for a very minimal mucosal thickening in the sinuses. Instead he pointed me to the right doctors to diagnose the reason behind my headaches which wasn't related to sinusitis. He explained every detail to how the DNS is not impacting the physical environment of the nose or breathing (definitely not the cause of headache), and it’s absolutely fine to not go for the surgery. Every patient needs this kind of diagnosis, in times of COVID he could have taken advantage of suggesting a surgery but his motto is different and clear. He is really good and is able to quickly diagnose the problem. He doesn't ask for any unnecessary tests. He is very patient and takes time to listens to the problems. Definitely not monearary minded. The place is maintained very well. The receptionists are also sweet and help you with everything you ask for. I booked my slot over phone and I was there on time and I didn't have to wait much. If wanna visit a ENT specialist, trust me and go to Dr. Alok Banka. He is very polite and friendly.. I totally recommend him for any ENT issue. He is a doc who last cares about money and any unnecessary surgeries. He is so satisfied with her work that money is the last thing he would care for.,.........

I did not have a good experience with Dr. Alok Banka. * ** and his tone was not polite when I tried to explain my problem.

My mother had been suffering from a chronic cough, and unfortunately, our experience with Dr. Alok Banka was disappointing. For almost two months, he kept prescribing cough syrup , yet her cough did not improve. ** * When I asked why she was having a persistent cough, I was simply told that it was “seasonal.” * ** ** ** ** ** ** ** * and left us feeling that our questions were not being taken seriously.
