volibris tablet is an endothelin receptor blocker used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension and even helps to improve your quality of life & delay in disease progression. it works by blocking the action of endothelin type a receptor that causes vasoconstriction, thus reducing pressure in the lungs.
this medication dose and duration will be given based on your medical condition as prescribed by the doctor. take this tablet orally with or without food, but try to regularly have it at a fixed time. medication must not be stopped unless told by your doctor. do not skip any doses and finish the entire course of treatment even if you feel better. stopping this medication too early may cause serious side effects.
do not take this medication longer than recommended by the doctor. your doctor may advise you for some blood tests regularly while you are on treatment.
the medication’s most common side effects are headache, palpitations, breathlessness, running nose, feeling sick, diarrhoea, and fatigue. if the symptoms persist or worsen, you need to consult your doctor immediately.
