Salbetol tablet is bronchodilator. It works by relaxing muscles in the airways and widens your airways. Hence, it is making it easier to breathe.

Take this medication as prescribed by your doctor. Dose and duration depend on your medical condition and how well you are responding to medication. Do not take more than the recommended dose. Medication must not be stopped unless told by your doctor.

Common side effects are tremors, headache, palpitations, increased heart rate, and muscle cramp. Inform your doctor if you notice or experience chest pain, severe headache, or dizziness. If the symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor.

Before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding and have a history of high blood pressure or overactive thyroid gland, heart diseases or diabetes, or low potassium levels in the blood. Avoid driving after taking this medication because it may cause dizziness or shakiness. Advise the patient not to smoke while taking this medication. Smoking may irritate your lungs and makes difficulty in breathing.
